Freshman (2011): Appeared in 20 games, with 19 starts...recorded 11 hits and four runs...finished season with a .239 batting average...knocked in three runs...stole two bases.

Before Gallaudet: Attended Illinois School for the Deaf...played volleyball, basketball, softball, golf and track and field in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Arliss Sweigart...has five siblings: Justin, Arlynne, Travis, Nicole and Hannah...roots for the Chicago Bears...favorite athlete is Devin Hester...enjoys watching Friends...best thing about D.C. is the city life...favorite movie is Simon Birch.

Why Gallaudet? “I first heard of Gallaudet my sophomore year when I transferred to Illinois School for the Deaf and I fell in love with it, I was determined to come here. The whole education experience, deaf culture, sports, and being in the capitol of the United States is amazing.”
