ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The
Gallaudet University men's swim team took on the second day of the 2026 Atlantic East Conference swimming championships here Friday at The Aquatics Center at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center on the campus of St. Mary's College of Maryland.
Sophomore Allen Davis (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) was the sole Bison swimmer to advance to Friday night's finals on the second day of the championships.
Davis kicked off the evening for the Bison in the 500-yard freestyle and finished in 12th place with a time of 8:00.87.
Later on in the meet, Davis swam in the 50-yard freestyle and recorded a 13th place finish (32.20).
Gallaudet holds fifth place out of five teams with nine total points.
Marymount (Va.) University leads with 301 points, followed by St. Mary's (Md.) in second place (285 points) and Marywood University in third (126). Immaculata University is in fourth place (91) and Gallaudet is in fifth (nine).
The Bison didn't participate in Thursday night's relay events so Friday marked the debut for the buff and blue men's team.

Gallaudet returns to The Aquatics Center at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 14) for Day 3 of the 2026 Atlantic East Conference championships. Preliminaries will start at 10 a.m. and the finals will be held at 5:30 p.m. The doors will open at 4 p.m. with the annual Senior Recognition Program at 5:15 p.m. before Saturday's finals finish.
