GU swimming teams earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors for Fall 2025

RICHMOND, Va. – The Gallaudet University men's and women's swimming teams were recognized by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) with a Scholar All-America Team Award for the Fall 2025 semester.

The CSCAA presents Scholar All-America Team Awards biannually, once for the fall semester and again in the winter/spring semester, for teams that post a combined team GPA above 3.0 for that semester.

The Bison women's team, 12 student-athletes, posted a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.46 during the fall semester to earn this honor while the men's team, nine student-athletes, had a 3.09 team GPA.

This is the eighth time the Gallaudet women's swimming program has been honored by the CSCAA (Spring 2021, Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025) while the men's team has been honored five times (Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Spring 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2025).

The CSCAA selected 709 teams from 414 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. Teams were selected based on their Fall 2025 team grade point averages and represent 16,421 student-athletes. A total of 153 Division III women's swimming teams and 130 Division III men's swimming teams were honored.

The Atlantic East Conference (AEC) is well represented by Cedar Crest College (women), Marymount (Va.) University (men's and women's) and Marywood University (men's and women's).

In Division III, Monmouth College had the highest women's team GPA with a 3.87 while Colorado College men's team had the highest men's team GPA (3.81).

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA, is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
