ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - The first day of the four-day long 2025 Atlantic East Conference swimming championships began Thursday night at The Aquatics Center at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center on the campus of St. Mary's College of Maryland.
The championship began with the 200-yard medley relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay, both of which the Gallaudet University women's swim team participated in on night one.

After the two events, GU accumulated 54 points to hold fifth place out of six teams.

St. Mary's College of Maryland stands in first place with 80 points, followed by Marymount (Va.) University in second with 68 points and Immaculata University in third with 62 points. Cedar Crest College (58), Gallaudet (54) and Marywood University (32) are in fourth, fifth, and sixth place, respectively.Â
