WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University women's swimming team concluded the regular-season schedule here Saturday in the Field House pool as the Bison hosted Goucher College and welcomed back McDaniel College for a second time this season.
Gallaudet (2-12) dropped both meet competitions to the visitors on Senior Day. The Bison lost 121-55 to Goucher and 128-50 to McDaniel. The Green Terror (3-9) defeated the Goucher Gophers, 96-88.
Prior to the meet, Gallaudet coach
Brian Bennett recognized his graduating seniors in
Molly Headrick (Vista, Calif.),
Ellen Schloemer (Cincinnati, Ohio) and
Amelia Oliver (Elkridge, Md.).
GU only had swimmers in 10 of the 11 events. McDaniel won seven of the 11 events while Goucher posted four first-place victories.
Headrick finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a fast time of 29.97 seconds.
Schloemer finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:46.52) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:27.12).

Sam Michaelson (Southwick, Mass.) finished third with a time of 4:53.07.
The Bison 200-yard medley relay team of first-year swimmers consisted of
Kelly Carbajal (Rilato, Calif.),
Ankita Gopal (Winchester, Va.),
Tiadra Vang (Kansas City, Kan.) and
Emily Nover (District Heights, Md.), who posted a third-place finish (3:21.55).
