LYNCHBURG, Va. - It came down to one point on Saturday and that was all the Gallaudet University women's swimming team needed to defeat Greensboro College, 93-92, in a triple-dual meet hosted by Randolph College. The host WildCats took down the Bison, 185-44, and defeated the Pride, 169-52, as the trio of teams began their 2023-24 season.
A deeper Gallaudet team picked up key points against the Pride, who only had enough swimmers to participate in 10 of the 14 events, while the WildCats won 12 of the events outright between the trio of teams.
For Gallaudet, a quartet of swimmers finished third overall in their respective events and picked up key team points against Randolph and Greensboro.
