ARLINGTON, Va. – The Gallaudet University women's swimming team lost 151-22 to Marymount (Va.) University here Saturday in an Atlantic East Conference meet.
Gallaudet (1-8, 0-4 Atlantic East), who hosted a conference meet the day before, only had three swimmers compete in Saturday's meet.
Marymount (6-3, 3-0 Atlantic East) swept the top three spots in seven of the 11 events.
Sophomore
Amelia Oliver (Elkridge, Md.) finished second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:54.08. Oliver finished third in the 500-yard freestyle (7:05.75).
Junior
Dakota Ronco (La Mesa, Calif.) swam in three events and placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (15:49.99) and was fourth in the 200-yard butterfly (3:23.93) and 200-yard breaststroke (3:33.84).
Freshman
Molly Headrick (Vista, Calif.) matched Ronco with three individual events as she finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:28.74) and fourth in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle with times of 1:07.66 and 2:34.47, respectively.
UP NEXT
Gallaudet will host Cabrini University and Marywood University next Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in a double-dual conference meet at the Field House pool. The meet will mark Senior Day for the Bison swim program.
