ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Gallaudet University women's swimming and diving program lost a non-conference meet, 122-69, to Elizabethtown College on the road Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Jackie Perkins (Hampton, Va.) was third in the 50-yard freestyle as she finished in 29.03 seconds in the tightly contested race. She took third in the 100-yard freestyle (1:06.07) while teammate junior Alisia Metante (Pleasanton, Calif.) was right behind her in fourth place (1:06.52).
Sophomore Jessica Monroe (Senoia, Ga.) finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle as she touched the wall in 13:43.38, just under three seconds behind the first-place swimmer Beth Kimball from Elizabethtown (13:40.94).

- Junior Alyssa Hanbury (Orlando, Fla.) was fourth in the 200-yard IM (3:14.26), 100-yard backstroke (1:25.82)
- Metante was fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:36.75)
- Monroe was fourth in the 100-yard butterfly (1:19.71)
- There was no diving event today

Gallaudet will dive into North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) competition next Saturday, Nov. 11, in Allentown, Pa., as they face Wells College and Cedar Crest College at 1 p.m. in a double-dual meet.
