Final relay derails Gallaudet's bid for win over Hood

FREDERICK, Md. – It was a heartbreaking loss for the Gallaudet University women's swimming team on Saturday against Hood College as the host Blazers edged the Bison, 102-100. The non-conference meet came down to the last and final event, 200-yard freestyle relay, which Hood won by four seconds.

Gallaudet (3-5) won three of the 11 events as the Blazers were victorious in the remainder which included two relays.
